[Double Event, Double Trouble]
Aug. 12th, 2024 02:12 pmHey Duel Academy! There's some (not so) new teen(?) girls(?) poking around the Island at various times. You may recognize them, you may not, reality is a bit wobbly for them at the best of times, and these aren't their best of times. Helen is our first, let's see what this gremlin is doing:
Helen can be found:
1.) After a sportsball club meeting, exhausted, sweaty, and drinking water by dropping bottles of it into her open mouth and just swallowing it, bottle and all. She's worked her way through a 12 pack this way. Despite her corpse pale skin, she appears to not be sunburnt or red in the late summer heat at all.
2.) On a sportsball field when no one is there, probably into the evening, awkwardly kicking a ball around. If you're magically savvy, she seems to be tracing some sort of sigil onto the field, though whether she's doing it on purpose or not remains to be seen.
3.) At a card selling kiosk, pulling coins from behind her own or passerby's ears, and dropping them into the vending machine. She's collected half of what she needs from startled fellow students. Her own ears seem to have run dry.
4.) High up somewhere at the brightest point of the day, carrying a parasol that looks half rotten and decrepit, but casts a full shadow over her pale skin even with all the clear holes in it. Though there's a feeling that it's not the sun in the sky she's concerned with shielding herself from. She's looking for something (or more likely someone) up here.
And on the other end of things:

Eira can be found in different spots as well:
A.) They're running a shell game outside of the eyes of what few responsible adults are still on the island. There's six cups in it and two balls, but they're moving the cups with incredible speed. Scrawled on the table in handwriting that swerves between neat loops and manic scribbles seems to be equations that on the surface resembles Schrodinger's Equation but goes wrong and weird extremely quickly. They're happily chatting about superposition to their unfortunate marks, and saying that 'next time, Quantum Mechanics may just be on your side. Go again?' If you have any inklings of magic, this game is 1000% rigged.
B.) They're looking for someone, heading to what would be a mostly forgotten part of the campus, looking... pensive. Hopeful? They're carrying a stack of papers of some sort, with the same insane looking formulas on them.
C.) On an obstacle course or field for action duels, where she's running, alternating between being on all fours and two legs like some sort of wild animal. You can watch her practice like some kinda weirdo or wait until she's done. Or just yell at her, probably causing her to clip through something and flail around, half-stuck in the solid object.
